Originally from Guadalajara Mexican artist, who from a very young express their interest in

Modern Techniques Pottery & Glass Work. Graduated from the Autonomous University of
Guadalajara in 2000 for the Bachelor of Industrial Design decided to travel to Europe with the
intention to learn more on the techniques and the languages ​​of art and design.


At that time the artist had already several awards in which
include: His personal work in silhouette, fused glass exhibition at the workshop TREZ of
Guadalajara, and object art exhibition in the Design Center of the UAG
Already installed in London, the city becomes a source of inspiration for what later
would be one of their artistic proposals. His work in Nuremberg, Germany allowed him to strengthen their
learning English and being in contact with various forms of art that motivated
to find his own way.
Back in Mexico becomes pioneering work in creating fused glass pieces
unusual in the national catalog which allowed him to win the first prize in the 2nd. Biennial of
Glass in 2009 where he competed with work throughout Latin America and Europe.


His artistic expression makes it a complete artist creating works with different techniques
including industrial design and painting. With its glass design jobs traveling
around the world and great acceptance for his work on his paintings. Julio Silva is
considered an artist who transgresses boundaries and limitations of the concept and find a
